Does adding scent really make fish bite more?
It can certainly help as it can take away the smell of the angler’s hands (sunscreen, for example) off the bait.
Can fish distinguish color?
Fish can see color shadings, reflected light, shape, and movement, which probably accounts for the acceptance or rejection of artificial lures, but most fish are colorblind.
How many hours do we fish for?
That depends on the type of trip you booked for example if you do a 10 hour trip your average fishing time is may be less depending on how long it takes to get out to the fishing grounds.
